Relationships can be sticky or life giving, what do you choose? Me.....??? Get through the sticky to become life giving. Simple, right? Relationships are tough, hard work. They need attention, care, cooperation, determination, dedication, commitment and consistantcy. Just to name a few. What a sad thing when people walk away in seemingly unreconcilable places. I say get it in there, Its a challenge, make it happen!
Its not that its always easy. This I understand all too well. There are some relationships that are toxic, meaning unhealthy for you to be in. You may have already tried as much as you could to make things workable. In that case, you must let it go, without bitterness if you can help it, and try to give them grace in your heart to become new people everyday. If you can change, so can they. Just give it to the one who can ultimately make us new. However, when it's in your power to work through some thing to a place of reconciliation, I encourage you take the step forward. You just may find a new spring to your step, and joy you didn't know you could feel.
Being in right relationships, sharing every day life with one another, letting people in on our ups and downs, being in community is where we grow. Where we become the people we are meant to be. We are designed to be in relationship, live your design!
